I have 3 clients in the midst of LinkedIn Strategy Makeovers, so LinkedIn is on my mind this week.
- When people invite you to connect, don’t just click “Accept”. Marketing, getting clients, it’s all about building a relationship. (Remember Know, Like and Trust?)
- Write a standard acceptance note that you tweak the first sentence or two for each person you connect with.
- Share your website, blog and lead capture giveaway on your profile. Potential clients are checking out your website. Make it easy for them to find out more about you.
- Fill out the new “Skills” section on your profile. You may add up to 50 skills.
