Social media marketing is a topic that my clients are buzzing about so it’s on the forefront of my mind. Here are a few tips
- Make sure your website links to your social media sites.
- Make sure your social media sites link to your website (I prefer to do this with a giveaway or free offer, but at the very least you need a link to your site).
- Have an easy way for website visitors to share information from your website on THEIR social media sites. (If you don’t have this, ask your web designer for help with this).
- Use automation – your blog can automatically post to your social media sites
- Facebook – http://www.facebook.com/networkedblogs
- LinkedIn – Offers free apps. Just edit your profile and click "add application"
- Twitter – If you have wordpress use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/twitter-tools If you have another blogging software use http://hootsuite.com
